The Neo-Palamite Synthesis of Father Dumitru Staniloae

This book presents the contribution of Father Dumitru Staniloae, the most renowned Romanian Orthodox theologian and one of the leading figures of the Modern Orthodox Theologians, to the interpretation and modern assessment of the writings of Gregory Palamas in a critical manner. The introduction of the book details the life and Patristic contribution of Father Dumitru Staniloae. Although the general view is that Staniloae was mainly a Systematic theologian, the reality is that he was also a Patristic scholar.
